Sreepati Dey BScPT MSOM MCISc FCAMPT and CEO
Sreepati graduated with Honours in Anatomy with a B Sc. Degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh, securing first place in his class. He passed the competency examination of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association (CPA) in 1976 He successfully completed the competency examination of the Society of Orthopaedic Medicine in 1991. He obtained a Graduate Certificate in Orthopaedic Manual Therapy from the Curtin University of Technology, Perth, Australia. He received a Master of Clinical Science degree in Manual Therapy at the University of Western Ontario and obtained a fellowship from the Canadian Association of Manipulative Physical Therapists. read more |
Murali Krishnan (Kris) Avilineni BPT, MSc, FCAMPT, CMT
Kris graduated from MGR Medical University, Chennai in 2000 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy degree. He went on to complete a Master of Science in Fitness and Exercise Rehabilitation in 2003 from Madras University. He has completed the Clinical Masters program at University of Western Ontario and obtained a fellowship from the Canadian Association of Manipulative Physical Therapists. Kris is a life-long learner, and has taken many continuing education courses with a focus on orthopaedics, spinal manipulation, biomedical dry needling and vestibular rehabilitation. He is authorized to perform spinal manipulation and use dry needles in practice and has experience with athletes in various sports. He has more than 15 years experience as a therapist, working in India and Canada. On his days off, he can be found with his wife and lovely daughter at Lake Summerside Park. In addition to English, Kris speaks Tamil and Telugu. |
Rakhi Garg BPT
Rakhi graduated from HNB University, Garhwal in 2007 with a Bachelor degree in Physiotherapy. She has over 5 years of experience in delivering her services across home health care and inpatient/outpatient health facilities. She is adept in examining patients' rehabilitative needs, developing physiotherapy plans and treatment goals. She is committed to provide all patients with outstanding care and support to help improve their quality of life. She is fluent in Punjabi, Hindi and English. |
Niloida Ranon BSc PT
Niloida is a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy of De La Salle University, Philippines and practiced physiotherapy in her country right after graduation. She successfully passed the Canadian Professional Competency Exam. She completed the Advanced Vestibular Rehabilitation course and the SWODEAM Peripheral Manipulation course. She is currently enrolled in the level courses of the Diploma of Advanced Orthopaedic and Manipulative Physiotherapy of which she plans to become a Fellow. She completed Level 2 and Level 3, upper quadrant. Niloida has also received her TMJ certificate from APTEI. She did the Certification in Dry Needling under Acupuncture Canada ( AACDN) .She believes that the patient is the centre of the rehabilitation team. read more |
ACUPUNCTURIST
Cuihong Yao
Cuihong graduated with distinction from a three-year acupuncture program as well as a Traditional Chinese Herbology Certificate at Grant MacEwan University. She became a member of CAAA in 2014. She has a BS degree in Medicine and a Master’s degree in cardiovascular disease in China. She worked as a physician of internal medicine at the Medical University’s Hospital for eight years and specialized in cardiology. She is also trained in acusports for the neck, shoulders and lower back. Cuihong practised in chiropractic and physiotherapy clinics for many years. As a result, she accumulated a diversity of skills for the treatment of muscle and joint injuries, muscle spasm, chronic pain and neurological impairments as a result of sports injuries and motor vehicle accidents. |
MASSAGE THERAPISTS
Meghan Dickau RMT
Meghan graduated from MacEwan University's 2200-hr Massage Therapy Program in June, 2016. She is a member of the Massage Therapist Association of Alberta (MTAA). She has been working with the Walker Lakes staff to provide quality care and treatment to each patient. Along with traditional Swedish massage relaxation techniques, Meghan has been equipped with a variety of techniques to help patients with pain reduction during injury recovery, which range from trigger point therapy to, her personal passion, myofascial release therapy. Her goal is to work closely with the other physiotherapists in treatment management and injury recovery in order to ensure that each patient receives the best care possible, allowing them to return to daily life relatively pain-free. In her downtime, Meghan enjoys writing, drawing and watching the occasional show on TV. She, unfortunately, only speaks English. |
Raul Sarduy- Fleites RMT
Raul originally studied massage therapy in Cuba and continued his education at the Alberta College of Massage Therapy as well as the MaKami College of Massage Therapy in Edmonton. Aside from his Registered Massage Therapy and Swedish Massage licence, Raul also has a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy. He has practised massage therapy for over 10 years and is known for his specialization in sports massaage therapy, active release, deep tissue and hot stone massage, myofascial cupping, reflexology and chair massage. Raul is proud to be a regsitered massage therapist as it gives him the opoortunity to help individuals manage their pain while continuously allowing him to expand his knowledge and improve his skills. read more |
Abhishay Tiwari RMT
Abhishay graduated from the Advanced Clinical Massage Therapist (ACMT) course at Makami College for which she needed 3000 hrs of practical experience. She is a member of the Canadian Registered Massage Therapy Association (CRMTA). She completed her first year at Makami College with honours with distinction. Abhishay completed her Bachelor’s in Physiotherapy (BPT) in 2014 from India and worked as an Assistant Physiotherapist for 4 years in Edmonton. She has mastered diverse techniques to aid patients in recovery such as Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Trigger Point and Myofascial Release Therapy, Hot Stone Massage, Prenatal and Postnatal Massage and various PNF techniques to release muscle tension. Abhishay speaks Hindi, Punjabi and English. She hopes to continue her work with Sports Plus Physio and rehabilitate and assist patients in overcoming physical barriers. |
Harsimranjit Chatha (Simran ) RMT
Simran completed the 2200 hours massage therapy program from Alberta College of Massage Therapy (ACMT) in Edmonton in 2019. She is a member of the National Health Practitioners of Canada (NHPC ). She works primarily with clients who have chronic pain and injuries. She is specialized in Deep Tissue Massage Therapy, Trigger Point Release Therapy, Pregnancy Massage, Sports Massage, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Myofascial Action Release, Fire Cupping, and Hydrotherapy. She speaks Hindi, Punjabi and English. |

Marigel Javier BSc MSc MOA
Marigel graduated in De La Salle University - Dasmariñas, Philippines with Bachelor of Science in Biology and with Master Degree in Biology. She completed the Medical Office Assistant course with honours in the Academy of Learning in Edmonton, Alberta Canada and is certified since 2014. Marigel worked as Laboratory technician, Laboratory Coordinator and full time Instructor in De La Salle University - Dasmariñas, Philippines for 15 years where she assisted students and professors. She has 9 years experience in client service in Canada. Marigel speaks English and Tagalog. |
